Hearing on the situation with human rights in Azerbaijan will be held on the margins of the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) of OSCE participating States in Warsaw.

The organizer of the event is Azerbaijan’s Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Security (IRFS), contact.az reported.

Azerbaijan has a long and unfortunate record of human rights violations. The continued shrinking space of civil society has led to a serious narrowing of it in 2014, when several national and international NGOs based in Azerbaijan were prosecuted based on various charges.
