YEREVAN.- Armenia’s government works on eradicating corruption schemes existing in the country, PM Nikol Pashinyan stated on Friday at the celebration dedicated to 27th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence.

“Our country has entered a new historical era, and our issue is to solve the issues of the past 27 years. One of the most important of them is the state-intertwined corruption scheme that has infected our whole state system and hinders the development of our state and public,” he said, adding that today’s issue is to eradicate all the corruption schemes, form independent and legal judicial system, guarantee freedom of speech and political activity, protection of human rights.

“Our issue is to give new impetus to our economy which will be based on free and creative citizen who believes in his ability to change the reality even if starting from zero, who will create new Armenian brands that will conquer the world and change Armenia’s fate,” the PM said.
