YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev are holding a meeting in Dushanbe.

During the extended meeting of CIS Council Nikol Pashinyan and Russian president Vladimir Putin exchanged a few words.

Pashinyan has arrived in Dushanbe to attend the session of CIS Council.

At a meeting of the Council in a narrow format, the interaction within the CIS was discussed, as wella s the issues of the chairmanship, the date and venue of the next meeting of the Council.

At the enlarged meeting, important issues of political interaction, further development of cooperation in cultural and humanitarian fields, in the areas of security, as well as a number of projects aimed at improving the legal, organizational and personnel support of the CIS activities were discussed.
