YEREVAN. – One of the six resolutions to be adopted during the Yerevan-hosted Francophonie summit is the settlement of conflicts, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told reporters on the margins of the ministerial meeting.

According to Mnatsakanyan, he is proud that, despite the internal political processes, the political will was exercised for holding the summit. According to him, the entire state system was actively engaged in the preparation of the event.

Asked to comment on the development of relations between Armenia and African states, the minister noted that it is extremely important.

He recalled that Armenia had established diplomatic relations with almost all African states.

“I would like the African continent to become more recognizable and attractive,” Mnatsakanyan said.

Numerous bilateral meetings are scheduled within the summit.
