Russian-Armenian relations, based on centuries-old traditions of friendship, mutual respect and trust, continue to develop steadily in various areas, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in a statement read out by the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.
His remark came addressing the participants of the International Industrial Exhibition EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA.
According to Lavrov, the vigorous interaction of the two states within Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) contributes to the further strengthening of Armenian-Russian relations, while the business meeting is a useful addition to the overall efforts to build bilateral practical cooperation.
The 8th international industrial exhibition “EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2018” and the Yerevan Business Forum is being held in the Yerevan EXPO exhibition complex from October 17 to 19. About 130 companies from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Belarus are expected to participate.
