Apple officially recognized iPhone 5 as outdated, Apple Insider reported. 

The smartphone appeared in the updated list of obsolete products, published on the Apple website. The device is not supported by the company, the warranty conditions do not apply to it, and the smartphone has no chance to get a new version of iOS.

The smartphone was presented in 2012 and became the first Apple smartphone with a 4-inch display.
