YEREVAN. – The [election campaign] time was very short. But in any case, we were able to do campaigning, and to distribute the forces in a way that people already know about us.
Acting Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan, who is an MP candidate on the electoral list of “We” (Menk) Alliance in Sunday’s snap parliamentary election in Armenia, on Wednesday told the above-said to reporters in capital city Yerevan.
In his words, they have succeeded in making their political force and its leaders become recognizable.
“We succeeded in pressing our ideas forward,” Zeynalyan added. “They are not new, everyone knows about them, and they are based on Western values.”
The electoral list of “We” alliance—which comprises the Republic and the Free Democrats Parties—is headed by Republic Party leader, MP and ex-PM Aram Sargsyan. Next on the list are Free Democrats Party Chairman and former MP Khachatur Kokobelyan and Vice-Chairperson Anzhela Khachatryan, respectively.
