YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian congratulated all citizens on this important day of election.

“It is time for people to say what country they want to live in, to decide the future of their families and their children”, he said after casting his ballot.

Sarkissian said everyone bears the responsible for his country and expressed hope that the elections will be free and independent.

“Everyone is responsible for the future of our country: the president, the prime minister, the National Assembly, the Speaker of the National Assembly, but above all the citizen himself. And the time has come for every citizen to demonstrate his duty and responsibility,” the president added.
