Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili congratulated Armenia's acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his election victory, Sputnik-Georgia reported quoting the press service of the President of Georgia.

As Margvelashvili stated during the phone conversation, the results of the early parliamentary elections will have a positive impact on the future democratic development of Armenia.

The President of Georgia wished Pashinyan good luck on the path of the reforms that are planned in Armenia and expressed hope that the historical friendship and relations between Georgia and Armenia will further strengthen. In turn, Pashinyan thanked Margvelashvili for congratulations and for the personal contribution that the Georgian president made for the development of relations between the two countries and said that Armenia greatly appreciates the support of Georgia as a friendly country and reliable partner.
