YEREVAN. – The matter of the candidates for the new National Assembly (NA) speaker and vice-speakers also were conferred on during Tuesday’s board meeting of Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract Party.
“General matters have been discussed—the candidates for the [NA] commissions’ and the NA President, and [some] other matters,” party member Zaruhi Batoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. “[But] I can’t give details at this moment, since there were just discussions; there is no decision.”
Batoyan said a closed discussion was held.
She added that solely NA-related matters were conferred on at this talk, whereas there was no discussion on the candidates for new deputy prime ministers.
