YEREVAN. – At Thursday’s Cabinet session of the Government of Armenia, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reflected also on the snap parliamentary election that was conducted on December 9.

“As a result of the elections, our government has received a convincing vote of confidence from the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, [and] which means that our things to do are still ahead,” he said, in particular.

Pashinyan noted that the first thing from the ones to be done in the future was promotion of investments in Armenia. 

“There is big investment interest toward Armenia, and it will continue to grow in the near future,” the acting PM added. “My direct instruction is to create all the conditions, and not to create any obstacles before potential investors.

“The future things to do are promotion of investments, and a favorable climate and conditions should be created very quickly for all potential investors [in Armenia].”
