The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) announced a decision on 11 Azerbaijani citizens, banned from leaving the country, contact.az reported.

According to ECHR, the citizens’ rights on effective legal protection and freedom of movement have been violated.

The ECHR ruled out to pay applicants 5000 euros for moral injury, as well as 1000 euros for court costs. The total amount of compensation is 64 thousand euros.
