YEREVAN. – Newly appointed UAE Ambassador to Armenia Mohammed Issa Al Qattam Al Zaabi handed over his credentials to the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian.

President Sarkissian expressed confidence that the UAE Ambassador will use his experience and professional skills for strengthening and deepening of multilateral relations.

The Ambassador conveyed greetings of UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President Sarkissian recalled his recent quite efficient visit to the UAE, successful discussions and reached agreements, and said he would ensure that their implementation will give impetus developing bilateral cooperation.

Speaking about economic cooperation, interlocutors pointed out technology, food safety, tourism, alternative energy as priority areas for interaction.
