Armenia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and GuoMeng have jointly initiated and established the Armenian-Chinese Friendship Development Association, the main purpose of which is to enhance the economic, trade, educational and cultural partnerships between China and Armenia. The co-founder and president of the Association is famous economic figure Robert Harutyunyan. The main areas of activity of the Association are development of economic ties between China and Armenia, implementation of investment programs in China and Armenia, growth of trade turnover between China and Armenia, implementation of joint industrial projects for entering the markets of third countries and implementation of joint programs in the cultural and educational sectors.
To achieve these goals, GuoMeng is actively working with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia and is preparing to implement different investment programs in Armenia that are in line with the goals of China’s “One Zone One Road” Program.
To implement the investment programs, it is envisaged to create in Armenia the GuoMeng-Armenia Eurasian Investments Management Company, which will implement the following programs along with the Armenian-Chinese Friendship Association:
1. GuoMeng-Armenia International Trade Company: GuoMeng will establish a trade company in Armenia and deal with the sale of products of both countries in international markets
2. GuoMeng-Armenia Logistics Company: GuoMeng plans to build in Armenia a modern economy for storage that will serve for the trade flows with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, the European Union and other countries.
3. GuoMeng-Armenia aluminum production zone: GuoMeng will create an industrial zone for aluminum products manufacturers, and the products manufactured by the zone’s beneficiaries will mainly be exported.
4. Cultural and Educational Center
It is envisaged to create, jointly with the Armenian-Chinese Friendship Development Association, an educational and cultural center for the development of cooperation between both countries in the cultural, educational and economic sectors. The center will be responsible for the implementation of the “One Zone, One Road” Program in Armenia.
As an investment company providing high-quality services at the global level and closely collaborating with the Ministry of Commerce of China, GuoMeng will closely collaborate with the Armenian government within the scope of the above-mentioned investment programs. Another document on partnership was also signed.
