The list of goods includes diesel fuel, and the Iranian side received a preferential rate for customs duties of 2.5%, instead of 5%, said Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Albert Babayan on Tuesday.

His remarks came at the Armenian Parliament session while discussing the ratification of the interim agreement between the Eurasian Union and Iran.

According to him, it should be noted that there are technical regulations in Armenia that impose certain restrictions on both diesel and gasoline imports.

“If there is a sufficient amount of diesel fuel in Iran, which will comply with the technical regulations of the Eurasian Union, then there will be no restrictions on imports,” the official added.
