Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a working visit to Strasbourg, France, has arrived in the Council of Europe (CoE) building. 

At the entrance to the building, the PM was welcomed by Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) President Liliane Maury Pasquier and Secretary General Wojciech Sawicki.

Before his meeting with Pasquier, Pashinyan signed the PACE President’s golden book, Armenpress reported.

Within the framework of his two-day visit to Strasbourg, Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday will attend the plenary session of the PACE spring session where he will deliver an address and respond to the MPs’ questions.

Also, Pashinyan will meet with CoE Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland, PACE President Liliane Maury Pasquier, and CoE Venice Commission President Gianni Buquicchio. In addition, Pashinyan and Jagland will make a statement for mass media.

Furthermore, the Armenian PM, the CoE Secretary General, and the PACE President will officially open—at the CoE headquarters—the photo exhibition, entitled “The Velvet Revolution of Armenia.” 

Within the framework of his visit, Nikol Pashinyan is expected to meet also with representatives of the Armenian community of Strasbourg.
