The staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia has announced about candidacies for judge of the Constitutional Court.

Pursuant to sub-point 1 of point 1 of Executive Order NK-21-A of the President of the Republic of Armenia of 18 April 2019, to become a candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court, contenders may submit by hand, mail or e-mail ([email protected]) the following documents certifying the requirements for candidates for judge of the Constitutional Court (under part 1 of Article 165 of the Constitution and part 1 of Article 4 of the Constitutional Law “On the Constitutional Court”) to the Staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia (“Home of the Republic”, 26/1 Marshal Baghramyan Avenue, Yerevan) by May 3, 2019 (18:00):

(1) application form (Form N 1),

(2) copy of passport of identification card,

(3) statement of information on the fact that the candidate is only a citizen of the Republic of Armenia,

(4) document certifying the fact that the candidate meets the requirement for command of the Armenian language,

(5) copy of document certifying higher education in law,

(6) sheet containing biographical data (Form N 2),

(7) copies of documents certifying at least 15 years of experience in law after being qualified as a lawyer,

(8) other documents certifying high professional qualities (if available).

The President of the Republic of Armenia will take notice of all the applications and documents as information about the people who have expressed the desire to fill the vacancy of judge of the Constitutional Court.
