The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has left for the United Kingdom on an unofficial visit.

In the UK, Sarkissian met with the newly appointed British Minister of State for Europe and the Americas, Christopher Pincher.

“Glad to welcome President Sarkissian of Armenia to [UK] Foreign Office,” Pincher wrote on Twitter, regarding this meeting. “Great to start my new role as Minister for Europe by meeting the Head of State of a valued partner of UK. Looking forward to working with you to keep the relationship flourishing!”
