Police chief of Armenia’s Syunik Province Arshavir Gevorgyan was dismissed on August 30, as reported the Police of Armenia.

“By the order of the Chief of Police of Armenia, Arshavir Gevorgyan was dismissed from office and registered in the personnel reserve. The Police of Armenia always make such personnel changes,” the Police reported.

Arshavir Gevorgyan used to hold the office of head of the Tavush Regional Department of the Police and was appointed police chief of Syunik Province in October 2016.
