Earthquakes were recorded in the Karakocan district of the Turkish city of Elazığ (Kharberd-ed.) on the evening of September 2 and at midday on September 3.

According to the Turkish Sozcu, the magnitude of the earthquake on the evening of September 2 was 3.7, while that of the earthquake at midday on September 3 — 4.

Sozcu states that there is no information about damages or destruction.
