YEREVAN. – A group of employees from Sanitek waste management company are staging a protest outside the Yerevan Municipality. They are demanding their salaries for August.

“The municipality says, ‘We have transferred the money,’ and the director of our company says, ‘They haven’t transferred,’” a protester said. “Now we have come [to the Yerevan city hall] to find out whether or not they have transferred our money.

“We were told at the municipality that they would give us a document according to which they had transferred 160 million drams. Now we want to know where that money has gone.”

These Sanitek workers noted that they want to find out whom they should get their unpaid salaries from, and if they do not get them, against whom they should go to court.
