According to the source, such a meeting is not an exception, but rather regular meeting.

Armenian third president has reportedly had intense contacts with diplomatic representatives of different countries, including Russia, China and European countries, the newspaper noted.

Armenia's international partners, including the US, note that Armenia lacks systems and mechanisms to counterbalance and restrain the government, and attribute this role to opposition parties, the source wrote adding that apparently, that was also one of the main motives of the US ambassador to meet Serzh Sargsyan.
