The person who initiated the trial against second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan has set the goal to make sure the trial lasts 5-7 years. This is what Kocharyan’s attorney Hayk Alumyan declared during today’s trial.

“There are 800 witnesses in this case. This means that if there are no other hindrances, it will take 5 to 7 years to listen to all of the witnesses,” the attorney declared.

He also stated that there are only 30-40 witnesses who have something to say. “Nobody will dispute what they can inform us,” the attorney emphasized.
