WhatsApp developers are testing a new feature that will allow users to configure automatic deletion of messages after a certain period of time, TASS reported referring to WABetaInfo portal.
The corresponding option appeared in the beta version of the 2.19.348 messenger for the Android operating system. It can be enabled in the Contact Information and Group Chat Settings” tabs.
The user will be able to set the time when the message disappears. It can be an hour, day, week, month or year.
