Armenia should use any global processes to advance the agenda of Genocide recognition, the director of the Caucasus Institute, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told reporters on Thursday.

According to him, the resolutions adopted by both houses of the US Congress will not turn the story upside down, but they still have a certain significance, including for Armenia.

"This is linked to with the specific relations between Ankara and Washington, as well as with the internal political processes in the US, but we must use any global processes to our advantage, and this is normal," he said.

The House and US Senate adopted resolutions recognizing the Armenian Genocide on November 29 and December 12, respectively.
