YEREVAN. – Spokesperson for the Yerevan mayor does not have information whether the officers of Armenia’s Special Investigation Service visited the municipality today. 

“I do not have such information,” spokesperson for the mayor Hakob Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier head of Luys faction in the Yerevan Council of Elders Davit Khazhakyan said he had been summoned to the Special Investigation Service. 

During the session of the Council of Elders, Davit Khazhakyan had reported on a crime against Hayk Marutyan to the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to Khazhakyan, Deputy Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan was on vacation with Mayor Hayk Marutyun, and the functions of the mayor were carried out by Deputy Hayk Sargsyan who didn’t have the right to carry out those functions and adopted about 70 acts.
