The United States banned Iranian investors and entrepreneurs from entering or staying in the United States on certain types of visas, AP reported.

According to the new rules, Iranians and their families can no longer apply or extend E-1 and E-2 visas which allowed investors and business people live and work in the United States.

Iranian nationals would have to leave the country once their visa expires. However, they can get other types of visas.
