YEREVAN. – There is no weapon in the world that can defeat the spirit. Former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, leader of the Republic Party, and supreme commander and former Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan's brother, Aram Sargsyan, said this in a conversation with reporters at Yerablur Military Pantheon today.

"We keep our homeland and have shown that we are truly the most combat-ready army in the region," he added, in particular. “And now we show that (…) we all have the same attitude towards the army - the Armenian man loves his army, he feels protected with the army. Today [Army Day anniversary] is a celebration for all of us."

Referring to the current state of the Armenian army, he underlined that he is very happy with the procurement of new weapons during this arms race.

"Believe [me], these are pretty serious weapons," he added, "and the adversary will think in that direction before taking any action."
