A road accident involving a BMW and an Opel with Armenian license plates took place on the morning of March 3, in Lipetsk, Russia, the Armenian embassy in Russia informed.

According to the information provided to the embassy by the Interior Ministry department of Lipetsk region, the driver of the Opel (an Armenian citizen born in 1988) had sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital in Lipetsk, whereas the BMW driver (a 54-year-old Russian citizen) had died on the spot.
