Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“I just left the Requiem Service for the father of one of my friends who had died of the coronavirus. The coffin was closed, and no autopsy had been conducted. There weren’t many people, and the reason is clear. Everyone was wearing face masks and gloves.

I ask everyone to follow the basic rules. We don’t need to see such things to understand how serious the issue is. All we have to do is to wear a face mask and gloves. Please.”
