Armenia is facing a problem with change of the natural gas tariff once again. This is what pro-Western MP Arman Babajanyan declared during a parliamentary session today.
According to him, the problem with inflation is that the price of natural gas is being rasied amid reduction of the prices of power generators in the global markets. “This is not a friendly gesture from Russia, which is Armenia’s strategic partner,” Babajanyan stated, adding that the price of natural gas will most probably go up by 4.5% and that he believes Armenia needs to reconsider the country’s treaty with the Eurasian Economic Union.
