Chairman of the 057-Professional Council for Chemical Technologies of the Supreme Certifying Committee, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Sevan Davtyan has died after contracting the novel coronavirus, as reported on the Facebook page of the Supreme Certifying Committee.

“Secretary of the 057-Professional Council, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Anahit Tonoyan is also infected with the novel coronavirus and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. Sevan Davtyan was Anahit Tonoyan’s husband. We wish their family and relatives patience in this dire situation and hope Anahit Tonoyan recovers in the coming days,” the Facebook post reads.
