YEREVAN. – In 2019, 16 billion 648 million drams were allocated from the state budget for the needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia. Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan stated this during Thursday’s debates on the 2019 state budget performance report, at the joint sitting of the standing committees of the National Assembly.

He added that 16 billion 435 million drams were actually used, which is 99% of the total allocated funds.

According to the minister, as expected, the main expenditures were made on Armenia's diplomatic missions abroad; a total of 10 billion 760 million drams have been allocated for these needs. At the same time, the implemented expenditure was 99.3% (10.68 billion drams).
