The Armenian parliament has approved a constitutional amendments bill and this is an absolutely illegal package that does not comply with the Constitution, said Armenia's second president Robert Kocharyan's lawyer Aram Orbelyan.

Following this decision, Kocharyan and his attorneys have decided to withdraw the applications submitted and now one of the lawyers Aram Vardevanyan is applying to the Constitutional Court asking to withdraw their applications.

“That is those statements that we submitted about a year ago that related to the compliance of Article 300.1 with Articles 72, 73, 78, 79 of the Constitution."
