President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today convened an enlarged consultation devoted to ensuring of housing for reserve officers and officers in service on the waiting list of the Defense Army, as reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the President of Artsakh.
State Minister Grigory Martirosyan and Minister of Defense Jalal Harutyunyan delivered reports on the number of families of officers, their distribution according to regions and the expected expenditures.
The head of state stated that the urgent solution to the issue is in the focus of the authorities of Artsakh and Armenia and that the housing project needs to end by the year 2023. In this context, he assigned the heads of interested bodies and government agencies to launch construction of homes by the end of this year.
Among others attending the consultation were the minister of urban development, the minister of labor, social and housing issues and other officials.
