The people of Azerbaijan have gotten bored of these pointless negotiations — President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has stated this several times in the past and reiterated it during a government session yesterday.

“Those who are dealing with this issue and are currently bringing up the proposals of the mediators should think about the fact that the people of Azerbajian can’t always be patient,” Aliyev declared, referring to Russia first.

In the past, Moscow has been the first to declare its willingness to help reduce tension, and it has also declared its willingness now.

Aliyev is also reprimanding the two other mediators of the OSCE Minsk Group, that is, France and the US. Since Azerbajian’s aggression, the Co-Chairs have issued two statements calling on maintaining the ceasefire regime. In response, Aliyev has declared that “the negotiations are pointless”.
