YEREVAN. – Those leaving Armenia should take into account what policy that country has on the issue of accepting non-citizens in their country; minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said this Wednesday in response to the questions of the Armenians living in Russia and protesting in front of the main building of the Armenian government, talking about why these Armenians cannot return to Russia yet.

"Armenia's policy is such that every citizen of Armenia, if he wants to return, he can return to the homeland without any obstacles. As for those leaving Armenia, they should take into account what policy that country has on the issue of accepting non-citizens in their country," said the FM.

"I do not know exactly what policy Russia is running now," he added.

Also, Mnatsakanyan said that everything is now conditioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, which leads to the extension of the current state of emergency in Armenia, which is for everyone's safety, so he urged them to be a little patient so that this month passes, too, then people can leave the country.
