According to TASS, more and more citizens are approaching the square in central Minsk, and transportation has been stopped.

Power structures in central Minsk are calling on demonstrators to disperse and not violate the requirements of the law on massive events and not incite violence. However, people aren’t leaving the square, and the number of demonstrators is growing. They are gathering in the center of the square, but aren’t approaching the government building. The situation is calm.

Police are near the area, and paramedics are on duty. There is also additional special machinery and military cars in central Minsk.

Cafes and stores are operating at Independence Avenue, but the employees state that they are ready to close at any moment. Central metro stations are closed, and the wagons at those stations don’t make stops.
