YEREVAN. – The Armenian side is checking the information about the deployment of Turkish mercenaries in Azerbaijan from Afrin and Azaz, Syria. Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, stated about this at a press conference on Wednesday.

According to her, the aforesaid information is a matter of concern. "There is such a threat, especially given Turkey's track-record in supplying terrorists," she added.

Also, Naghdalyan confirmed Turkey's continuing violations of its international obligations to Armenia. "By continuing to blockade Armenia, Turkey is violating the international obligations to provide access to the sea," the Armenian MFA spokesperson stressed.
