The Ministry of Environment of Armenia reminds that in April of this year it was decided that the “10,000,000 trees” pan-Armenian tree-planting event will be postponed until late 2021, taking into consideration the situation created as a result of the spread of the coronavirus, attaching importance to the health of every person and the measures being taken to fight against the spread of the pandemic and taking into account the potential risks of inevitable accumulation of people during the tree-planting ceremony.

“We fully hope the created situation will be resolved and we will completely implement this initiative by planting 10,000,000 trees in 2021. We also inform that the works for planning the initiative will be carried out in accordance with the sequence of previously developed actions,” as stated in the press release issued by the Ministry of Environment.
