In an interview with RT, Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Stanislav Zas talked about how the CSTO treats the role of international participation in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“The enlargement of participants in these events will be helpful for the resolution of the situation. Thus, the CSTO welcomes the participation of countries that are member states of the OSCE Minsk Group and act within the scope of powers of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Zas said.

Zas stated that the CSTO doesn’t consider the involvement of other parties in this conflict effective.

“If Turkey acts within the scope of the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group, then it has all the rights to this. If its actions are beyond the scope, then, of course, the CSTO won’t welcome this,” Zas emphasized.
