In an interview with RIA Novosti, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said it is clear that Turkey is the main sponsor for escalation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to him, Turkey is using not only its own military men, but also, according to certain information, also the special units of the army of Pakistan in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Pashinyan stated that there is evidence showing that Turkey transported militants from Syria to Azerbaijan and that this goes to show that the Azerbaijanis can’t fight on their own.

“The whole world is talking about this. This is important in that it will help us understand who launched the hostilities and why. Of course, there is specific evidence showing that terrorist militants of Syria are fighting in the battles against Nagorno-Karabakh. The videos have already been released on social networks and in the mass media. It was clear since the Azerbaijani army is unable to fight against the Defense Army of Nagorno-Karabakh on its own. This is why Turkey decided to engage terrorists,” Pashinyan added.
