Azerbaijan isn’t disposed to solve the humanitarian issue of evacuation of the bodies of deceased soldiers. This is what representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said during today’s briefing.

Hovhannisyan recalled that Azerbaijan has broken the humanitarian ceasefire for evacuation of bodies three times already.

In response to a question about the threat of an epidemic due to the fact that the bodies are decaying, Hovhannisyan stated that there are some places in-between military positions where the bodies have been laid for three weeks. “We’re trying to solve the issue someway so that we can prevent an epidemic. The Azerbaijanis don’t agree with a ceasefire since they could care less about their casualties,” Hovhannisyan emphasized. According to him, when there are changes in terms of positions, the bodies are evacuated. “Today the enemy’s forces left 15-19 bodies during a battle that took place near a village of Hadrut region,” he added.
