Deputy of the Bright Armenia opposition faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Ani Samsonyan posted the following on her Facebook page, stating that the Prime Minister must resign.
“The Prime Minister who talked about the capitulation of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) throughout the war and eventually signed a document on capitulation of Artsakh and Armenia can’t be a leader anymore and must resign with dignity,” he stated.
As reported earlier, on November 9, the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan reached an agreement on the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh and signed a statement by which the 7 regions of Artsakh are handed over to Azerbaijan.
The document also envisages the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh, as well as the construction of a road linking Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan via the territory of Armenia.
