Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia's position on the status of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) has not changed.

"You know Armenia's position on the status of Nagorno-Karabakh. And, of course, our position has not changed," Pashinyan said in an interview with TASS, responding to the question that the November 9 trilateral statement by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh does not say anything about the status of the region.

According to Pashinyan, the status of Nagorno-Karabakh should be determined in the negotiation process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. "In fact, perhaps there is a consensus among the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, and Armenia agrees with the view that the negotiation process should continue within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, and the issues that are not resolved in the joint statement should become [a subject of discussion] within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing," Pashinyan said.
