Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan on Saturday received a delegation led by Zareh Sinanyan, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of Armenia.

Homeland-Diaspora relations, housing programs in Artsakh, and the avenues for the solution of the problems of persons who have become homeless—due to the recent Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war—were discussed during the talk.

President Harutyunyan stressed that he would like to draw everyone's attention to the need to assist the tens of thousands of Artsakh Armenians who aim to build their own future in their homeland.

He noted that only through pan-Armenian efforts will it be possible to restore and develop Artsakh, and in this sense, the joint and coordinated work of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity is a mandatory condition.

Sinanyan, in his turn, noted that, as always, the Armenians of Artsakh are not alone, and joint work will be carried out to resolve all vital issues.
