The Ministry of Health of Armenia has approved the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus without the conduct of additional experiments in Armenia, the Russian Direct Investment Fund reported.

Today, Sputnik V is registered in Russia, Belarus, Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Turkmenistan, Hungary, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, the Republic of Guinea and Tunisia.

“The number of Russia’s partners is constantly growing among the CIS countries that have granted permission to use Sputnik V. Today we are announcing the approval of Sputnik V by the Ministry of Health of Armenia, which will allow the country to start vaccinating the population with one of the world’s best coronavirus vaccines. This cooperation will help protect human health and help bring the country closer to lifting the restrictions set due to the coronavirus,” Executive Director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev said.
