On February 15 at 10:27 p.m. (6:27 p.m. Greenwich time) the Seismological Survey of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reported an earthquake 5 kilometers northeast from Shorzha village of Gegharkunik Province, with a 10 km depth from the hotbed and 3.3 magnitude, as reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The intensity of the underground shock in the epicenter was 4-5 points.
The earthquake (aftershock) was recorded in Tsovagyugh village and Gavar city with 3-point intensity, and in the cities of Sevan, Abovyan, Dilijan and Ijevan — with 2-3-point intensity.
