Due to the recent rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, the Armed Forces of Armenia are implementing sanitary-hygiene and anti-epidemic measures.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia told Armenian News-NEWS.am that, under the requirements of a government decision, the Armed Forces have prohibited the visits to, as well as releases and leaves of compulsory fixed-term servicemen, except for cases envisaged on the ground of sub-point 2 of part 2 of Article 28 of the Law on Military Service and Status of Serviceman (death of family member (wife, child, father, mother, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather)).

The Armed Forces of Armenia ask servicemen for their understanding.
