An event, entitled "Awakening" and dedicated to the psychological support of servicemen wounded in the recent Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war and currently receiving medical treatment, was held at the Armenian Presidential Palace.

The event, which aimed to provide psychological support in the recovery of health, adaptation to normal life, as well as education and work to servicemen who fought in the recent war and got wounded, was initiated by President Armen Sarkissian, and within the framework of the "Defender of the Homeland" program of his staff.

The event was attended by numerous former and current servicemen, as well as their relatives.

During the event, separate group discussions also took place, during which the specialists listened to the opinions and problems of these war participants, and offered suggestions on their solutions.
